2019 edition

Sevda Tunaboylu

How are migration decisions made within a context that is extremely dynamic, where policies change rapidly, and where access to information is poor? This research aims to elucidate the decision-making process of migrants in transit by linking individual trajectories with macro level changes in policy and politics. The research is based on qualitative field work in several transit points and the numerical quantitative analysis of migration flows.
